1. Innovations: The Harvard Rothko Murals Project

This roundtable discussion will examine the main proposition behind the museums’ current special exhibition, Mark Rothko’s Harvard Murals. Mary Schneider Enriquez, the Houghton Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, will lead a conversation about the history, technology, and issues related to the digital projection conservation tool developed for the exhibition.

3. Public Open Night @ the BU Astronomical Observatory

When: Wednesday, Jan 14, 2015 8:30pm - 9:30pm

Where: Coit Observatory at Boston University, 725 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA

Admission: FREE

The Public Open Night at the Observatory is a chance for people to come observe the night sky through telescopes and binoculars and see things they otherwise might not get to see, and learn some astronomy as well. The Open Nights are held most Wednesday evenings throughout the year, weather permitting.
